There's something about this song that makes me happy. It has perspective. It makes you think. It's funny. It reminds you to be HAPPY about being alive. It's just all 'round awesome, really.

----
Galaxy Song by Monty Python
Whenever life gets you down Mrs. Brown
And things seem hard or tough
And people are stupid, obnoxious or daft
And you feel that you've had quite enough...

Just, remember that you standing on a planet that’s evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour
It’s orbiting at nineteen miles a second, so it’s reckoned
A sun that is the source of all our power

The sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see
Are moving at a million miles a day
In an outer spiral arm at forty thousand miles an hour
Of the galaxy we call the Milky Way

Our galaxy itself, contains a hundred billion stars
It’s a hundred thousand light years side-to-side
It bulges in the middle, sixteen thousand light years thick
But out by us it just three thousand light years wide

We're thirty thousand light years from galactic central point
We go round every two hundred million years
And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions in this amazing and
expanding universe

The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding
In all of the directions it can whiz
As fast as it can go, the speed of light you know
Twelve million miles a minute and that’s the fastest speed there is
So remember when you’re feeling very small and insecure
How amazingly unlikely is your birth
And pray that there’s intelligent life somewhere up in space
Cause there’s bugger-all down here on Earth

---

First off: so much LOL at the ending.

secondly:
So remember when you’re feeling very small and insecure
How amazingly unlikely is your birth

So very true and something we could all stand to remember more often, I think!

I downloaded this music mixing program a week ago, and the other day I started fooling around in it.

So I found some sample guitar clips that I put together.
I wrote some clichéd lyrics, and recorded them in a melody that fit the guitar cords :P

The result (although less than perfect in quality):

Ingeborg - I'm Here

It was fun!
It's not exactly Mozart, but whatever.

As much as this saddens me on behalf of the music industry, it pleasures me in the fact that we can all laugh at her horrible attempt to claim some more fame.

Prepare for the worst singer ever )

It seriously sounds like a Smurf being raped. The musician inside me dies a little bit more every day with all this crap coming forward. And the kid inside me who likes to point and laugh is fed continuously. Ha-Ha!

I saw Music & Lyrics at Kari's place some days ago. It was my second time seeing it, actually, but that didn't stop me from turning entirely obsessed over the song Way Back Into Love. I'm quite surprised about how amusing and original that movie really is, despite its genre. And I never thought the songs would be something I'd actually want to listen to.

And now I can't stop listening. But it's okey, cause it's a feel good song :D. Well, if you look at the lyrics I guess it's not supposed be a feel good song, but it makes me smile nonetheless.
